TV cable

I took out my new FR Flagstaff 5th wheel this weekend for a shake down. The only problem I had was the TV cable if i pluged it into the trailer box on the outside I could not get a picture. If i pluged it directly to the tv it was fine. I tried every combo on the control box with the radio, DVD, stuff and all that couldnt get a picture. Does anyone have any suggestions? Help

turn off the 12volt amplifier for your roof mount antenna

Turn off the AMP while using cable and turn it on to switch from cable to roof antenna.

The switch is that tiny black button with the green LED in the plate.

Always turn the switch off (light out) because it is a parasite drain on your battery when not on shore power.

Always do a channel search after switching from roof to cable and vice versa. Remember to select cable or AIR when you do the channel search to tell the TV what tuner to use.

And make sure you ran the cable to the right connection on the outside. Generally a connection on the passenger's side of the rig is where you would connect an outside TV for viewing, and a connection on the driver's side of the rig is where the source cable brings the signal into the rig.

Not trying to be insulting, but it seems a lot of people miss that.
