Question U Shaped Dinette isn't a bed ? Rockwood 2702SS

When I first bought this travel trailer in 2013 I couldn't figure the pillow layout to make it work - well never needed it so I ignored the issue. This summer I will need it and I just tried again_ the pillows DO NOT fit. Does anyone have the U dinette that has pillows that work and allow it to be a bed? It has definitely outsmarted me !

I have the same model only a 2015 and the cushions fit. It's pretty easy to do so I don't know what your problem may be.

My 2014 didn't quite work...different thicknesses of cushions on the seat backs. I could have lowered the table brackets and made it flush, but never got around to it. I'm thinking they made a change somewhere and didn't realize there was an issue...engineering oversight I guess. I did make a point of checking it on a 2017 on the lot before I ordered one. Seems like it got fixed.

Do you have two back cushions? Our U dinette works by lowering table and taking both back cushions and putting them on table. We keep side cushions in place to protect head and feet.

Can you just take an air mattress? It'll be more comfortable than piecemeal cushions anyway.

You may have already tried this but it you take the long pieces and put them parallel to the seat bottoms and the two short pieces end to end in the middle. Would it work then? Hard to tell from the pictures.

Think you are right. The way in picture it would be easy for the cushion to kick out of a person rolled over. I would put the two pieces at feet.

You may want to search for more help,,, there has been a lot of talk on cushion layout in the past,,, our 2013 Sunseeker came with a extra cushion that is only used when making dinette into a bed !!!
