In addition to cleaning it up, reducing the length will decrease the voltage drop. If you have enough, consider using the excess 6ga to double the conductor for the factory solar so you have 2 in parallel. That will be the equivalent of 3ga. Consider doing the same for the wire from the converter/charger to the battery.
