Also mobile and can't see the pole, but will add a vote to 5th wheel. Currently in #4, probably #5 by spring.

Park model is an RV - most have tanks, etc
Mobile homes are usually permanent - can have axles removed and skirted - no holding tanks

From what I've read, a lot of park models don't have tanks either.
Researching a little more, it looks like the biggest difference is actually size. A PM cannot exceed 400 square feet of living space and has different building code requirements.

I Meat no offence, Older vets allowed us to have younger ones.

Missed your response Wobbles
No offense taken BTW!
Best use of a shelter half was to provide shade when you were hanging out in banana trees

That's about it Fastwilly - externally.
Internally, most 5ers have a bit more room than TT (because a good 4-6' is hanging over the truck bed
Also having the hookup over the real axels of the truck provide for a MUCH more stable and pleasent towing experience!

Travel Trailer
Aviator TT. Have owned 2 Class Cs, two motorhomes and 2 TTs. Happy with what I have now. 5ers are too big for us and I don't want the fuel bill over my Aviator.
