Used camper sale price

Curious if anyone has any insight on how to set a sale price on a used camper. I’ve decided I want to get something bigger and I think I’d rather sell instead of trading in. It’s a 2018 Flagstaff SuperLite 23FBDS that I purchased new and used very little so it’s still in excellent condition. I haven’t really found anything that helps set an accurate value for used campers, and checking the local craigslist and marketplace, prices are all over the map. Any input is greatly appreciated!

Go to NADA and get a baseline there

Take purchase price and deduct 60%. That would fair market value. Options added after sale mean nothing to most people.

NADA, RV Trader, Craigslist.
Most owners value their RV much higher than it's really worth. But right now, it's a sellers market for RVs, used and new. You might get more than what NADA says.
But RV prices are always all over the map, new or used, unlike auto prices. What part of the country impacts RV prices a lot. There is no one accurate source.

It seems like this year, with the increased demand for RVs, the prices of used units are quite a bit higher than expected. It was a great year up here for the RV dealers, they were selling like hot cakes. It might be worth trying to get a bit more out of it. I saw units that were 4 years old looking to get what they paid for them, probably because they were trying to get what they still owed.

No, they look at the same guide. They just know they have to pay less because they have to be able to turn around and sell it eventually and still make some sort of profit on it.

Tell your local dealer that you need to sell it for cash and ask what he would give you for it. Take his offer and double it (at least).

Not a lot of new or quality used inventory out there. I would go to NADA guide, pick a number in the middle of their low and high retail value and stick with it.

They will Generally offer less For cash. They usually will have wiggle room when negotiating a trade.

Dealers are hurting for inventory as well, you won't get as much as a private sale but they want your RV so they can resell it..

You're in a really good position right now with all that's going on and all the new people getting into RVs. Now is the time to sell if you're considering it.

2 or 3 years from now used RV prices are going to take a dive. Many of the people who bought this past spring and summer thinking they were "going to live the RV lifestyle" will find out they don't like it or bought the wrong RV.

Same here in the lower 48... If you're going to sell now is the time, just make sure you have something suitable to replace it with...

Looking at what is going on around here in Texas, if you have taken care of it and it has no issues you can probably get with in 15-20% of what you paid, The market is crazy right now. A guy near me sold the exact pup I have except a year newer for more than I paid for mine. The problem is trying to make a deal on what you want to buy.

How much would you be happy with? And how much do you plan on spending for a replacement
