Used class A

My wife and I are very close to retirement purchasing a used class A. Georgetown is our coach of choice right now.My question is looking around we see so many class A's of all makes and models for sale with under 10,000 miles and some with as little as 5,000 and 2017 models. this is confusing us why so many with so little miles.

I think one main reason is people make a purchase with the intention of using it a lot but then realize just how much they have time for it. Or they realize the cost that was not thought of when they made the purchase. Then you have the ones who buy and use the hack out of it. I have seen plenty of drive around with very low mileage on them. They are not a daily driver.

With those deals make sure you test all of the moving parts (slides, stabalizers...) not once but three or 4 times. Often the low mile used units have had warranty issues and are back on the dealers' lots

For "most" they are recreational vehicles like boats and Motorcycles. Used on weekends and maybe a few trips a year depending on vacation days. Some may realize it's "to big" No place to store it, cost of storage to much, had RV fever and it passed...really there are hundreds of reasons!

I put more miles on my GTown in 1 year than I did with my 5er in 4. I always thought with the 5er it took more of a commitment for a weekend getaway than it does with the MH. I have no problem taking off on a 600 mile round trip on a long weekend

If people have never driven a large vehicle I bet some people end up scared to drive it.
Also look close to make sure it was not lived in. It could be low miles but well used.
