I live in SE Louisiana next to the Pearl River Delta and the Honey Island Swamp.
Hence, Swampy

Bought our trailer when I retired 10 years ago and needed a moniker when I joined the forum. Seemed appropriate at the time. I remember after the first Goshen rally someone said in a follow up post that "Old Guys weren't really old" but now at 70 we do sort of feel it fits some days. Old Guys (Brian and Joanne)

HerveVR, in french HervéVR
The idea came from our 1st grandchild after we bought our Motorhome.
Herve, sounds like RV (Recreational Vehicule)
Hervé was the name of my father in law.
VR refers to: Véhicule Récréatif (french version of the above).
Sorry for those that will see weird sing on their sceen due to the usage of accents.
HerveVR also appears on the front licence plate of the RV

Herbike was the name we picked when we joined the Goldwing forum. This was because we bought the Goldwing because my wife didn't like the little pad called a seat on the previous bike I had. Thus Herbike.

This was actually my first e-mail address a loooonnnnnggg time ago. Anyone who has a last name starting with the last letter of the alphabet is automatically referred to as "Z' or "Z-man". Combine that with the fact that I was a pretty decent basketball player at one point and there you go. From the brains of cocky 16 year olds........

I was just wondering if you were one the "Dan's." This forum has a few mods with that name. LOL...

I work in the communications industry using twisted pairs of wire to connect service. Sometimes twistedpairs is taken so I will use CanAm Snake Doc as a substitute. Canadian American for my dual citizenship and Snake Doc for fixing Corbra Attack Helicopters from '90-'96 in the U.S.Army.

Look at my profile pic. Nuff said. I’ve had 10 eskies in the last 25 years (lots of overlap!) Although for the first time, I now have a little brown fuzzbutt in the mix ❤️

Ragtopfury
Because I own a 1969 Plymouth Fury convertible. Original owner gave it to me as a total basketcase. 5 years of weekends, off and on, to restore it in my garage. Been cruising in it for 13 summers now.
@twistedpair - I new that as soon as I saw your id. Been in telecommunications for 30 years this year, myself.

My User name is a shortened less formal version of my given name i.e. Creedmore P. Crawley III. Throughout life I have always been called by some variation of that, mostly to distinguish the three generations of us.
Growing up some of my good friends called me Cree.
My Mother simply called me P.
Girls at school always called me Cree P.
My older brother called me the little III.
For the sake of brevity I prefer to be just called Cree P. Crawley… I guess that bugs some people.
