Using toilet on winterized RV

Still new to RVing. We squeezed 3 camping weekends but just got our Class C RV winterized.
We want to go south for a couple days next month.
I want to be able to use toilet in middle of night. I heard we can just flush with anti freeze after usage. Is that correct? Any special dumping directions after we are done.
Thanks for any help

Thank you. Do you just flush with it while using or pilot in tank

What do you mean by “pilot in tank”?

Sorry I meant put in tank. So I would put anti freeze in toilet while using - not fill my black tank with it and use it that way?
And then after using it a couple days- dump as normal? I would assume I wouldn't have much in it but I guess I would still dump it.

Yes. This will work just fine.

If down south means somewhere not freezing, you don't need to flush with antifreeze at all. Just pour some water in toilet to flush. Just make sure you dump your tank before it gets and stays below freezing so waste valve doesn't freeze shut. After dumping and before return to freezing temps, pour some antifreeze into the tank, then pour an inch or two into the bowl and leave it.

Thank you. It might still get below freezing at night. We will be in TN
Hopeful we enjoy it. Sick of hibernating Nov to March.

Winter use:

After dumping my tanks I pour a gallon of anti freeze into the toilet and snot gallon into the sink.

I always leave some antifreeze covering the seal of the toilet. For #1 I usually rinse toilet with antifreeze, sometimes a little water.

For poop I add more water to the bowl and afterwards flush with antifreeze. Sometime I use some water also.

I generally dump the tank before it gets to quarter or third full. I also add more anti freeze whenever I begin to worry about freezing and whenever the temps get into low 20’s and below.

This method has worked for me in PA for four years.

I keep a few gallons of anti freeze and a few gallons of water in a tub in my shower for flushing.

We dry camp through the winter after winterizing the trailer.

We camp where there are heated bathhouses and use the toilet in the trailer for liquids only (numero uno).

Before we leave for a trip I put about 1/2-gallon of antifreeze in the black tank and then we use a tupperware jug filled with water to flush with. Been doing this with two different trailers over the past 4 years down to single digit temps and have never had a problem.

We heat water either on the stove or fire to do dishes in a tub and then dump the water down the toilet as well. So I only have the black tank to empty prior to returning home.
