Yes, signing up is free, it’s not a bad site.
One of the cool things is you get notifications when someone from the group comes in your area.

Use it everyday. It's free, you can get a lifetime GOLD membership for a one time small fee, but it isn't necessary or required. It even shows which members are in the same park as you, as long as you update your location. There is also an app. Check it out.
