Vintage camper

This 1970 Ford F250 with matching camper is next to a client of mine. Had to share.

I see it. Pretty neat looking and they still use it. Cool!

Yup....see it now. Reminds me of a trip I took with a friends family from NY to FL in the winter of 1972. There were 4 of us kids (all teens) & his parents all in a similar rig.

BTW, had a blast!

Wow...that setup is in great shape. It reminds me of my Dad's old Chevy 3/4 ton truck and camper. We used the heck out of that, but Dad traded his camping in for boating when he retired from the AF and moved to Florida. Here is a picture of his rig from 1973 or so.

If your dad is still around, thank him for his service. Service men & women in that era were grossly under appreciated and/or respected.
If not, then thank you for having a great man for your dad.[emoji1]

Sadly, we lost him in 2015. He was supposed to outlive all his kids, but an unfortunate motorcycle accident took him. He was probably the reason I went in the Air Force, and just as he did, I retired after 20 years as a MSgt.

What a great picture and I’m sure your dad helped create wonderful memories.
I recognize his bike! It’s a 1973 Yamaha 100 Enduro, my first bike also. Same purple color as mine too! Paid $530.00 for it brand new👍👍

I think his was a '72, but yeah, an Enduro 100. That's what I learned to ride on. It was a lot of fun.
