Smile Waiting for our New Salem Cruise Lite

Hi - My name is Bill and we are new to RV's. We purchased a new, "to be built" Cruise Lite 241QB. We made the purchase in April for a camper to be delivered some time in July, which is fine. Now, we have a 10 year old son who is needless to say, very excited. Forest River builds RV's to make money, but what they really do (offer) is that they create family memories. We bought an RV to create great times together as a family.
I wanted to suggest to them that it would help us began these memories earlier, if they could take some digital photos along the production line of our RV being built, and email them to us. They should consider doing this "value added service" for anyone that orders and puts a down payment on any new Forest River product. How cool would it be for my son to get an emailed photo every week or so, showing the progress on our new "family memory maker!"
Does anyone know how I could email Forest River to ask this favor and make this suggestion? Contact info for them online is slim, as many of you have suggested online in the past. All we want from our "soon to be Salem" is a means to make memories - I think Forest River would do well to create their campers with the digital cameras handy! Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

It wouldn't be too hard to automate the process to a VIN number. It would only be a quick extra step. But, I'm sure some crazy privacy advocate would have issues some how.

The Amish workers would probably object to being photographed.

Smile Hoping for Photo of our new Salem

Thanks for your replies. I would love to be able to actually submit this to someone who is empowered at Forest River. Does anyone know any email for anyone that I could contact? Even if they could take a photo at the end of the assembly line, they would be starting the process of building an emotional connection between the manufacturer (and dealer), which is always good for business!
TY Bill

To that, I have no idea. May send a PM to one of the factory reps - even if it's not your specific brand, they might be able to help point you in the right direction:
  • RV Guy
  • Christopher Columbus
  • SabreSam
