Usually, folks cannot see you seeing them inside your rig. Grab your phone and take some pictures. If an iphone, make sure 'live' photo is on and it will grab your 'location' information in the picture. Then when you call the police you can send them the pics of the folks. THAT will give police something to look at. And since the thread was closed for 'other' things... well, consider it's your home and you have the right to defend yourself. That said, the best defense sometimes is exactly what you did. Avoid it.

Even though this situation is over, the 2 lowlife are still out there somewhere and no doubt will be trying to take advantage of someone else. I might suggest that it's still not too late to call this in and have the event reported. I would recommend calling both the state highway patrol as well as the county sheriff's office where these occurred. And if either happened in a particular town, I would also notify them. You were lucky but someone else might not be. And you may be able to provide specific details in case any of the authorities happen to be investigating similar crimes.
