Waterproof Moccasins

Recently placed an order for our first ever RV (Rockwood Mini-Lite 2506s), and we are in the process of "gearing up".

I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a pair of mens slip on moccasins or shoes that will keep your feet dry when walking about the campsite in the early morning dew. I'm not looking for anything fancy, just something to keep my feet dry that will easily slip on, with or without socks. Also not looking to hike or walk long distances.

I did find a pair of croc's without slits, but that still leaves your heel exposed. I also look at LL Bean's Duck Shoes, but they don't seem like they are slip on/off, walk in/out, and are more "pull on" style. Maybe I'm wrong.

Any suggestions or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!!!

Might look at Minnetonka moccasins. They're not cheap but probably can't be beat for longevity and comfort.

I've had several pairs of these through the years.
They'll slip on without having to pull a strap or stick your finger in the back.

I think mine came from L.L.Bean.

Thank you! These look very comfortable. Can you slip in and out of them without using your hands? I'm imagining walking in and out of my trailer with my hands full, and just wanting to literally walk in/out of them. Make sense?

I might need to order on-line. How do they run size-wise?

I'm also going to try on some of the LL Beans that others have recommended.

Makes perfect sense. Good suggestions you're getting.

Size runs true. Heel part is stiff enough to just slip on and off. I take my dog (chocolate lab) to the park every day and usually wear these. Just as comfy as sneakers

I live on 40 acres and we walk about 1/2 a mile every morning. I cut a path through the main hay field and keep it cut when I mow the lanes.

LL Bean mocs were my main go to for wet mornings. I have a set of Croc's with the flannel liner, they work 90% of the dew wet mornings. I usually wear wool socks year round so the exposed heel isn't a problem. For really wet mornings I wear my over the thigh steel toe chore boots.

Won't go wrong with the LL Bean moc's I usually get 5-7 years out of a pair.

When I moved to Wisconsin in 1994 I bought a pair of Sorel Caribous.

Shop Women's, Men's & Kids Boots, Shoes and Footwear | SOREL

I have abused those boots for 23 years through cold, snow, rain, mud, heat you name it. They are still perfectly waterproof and the original laces are still in tact. The soles are worn smooth, but I don't have a need for any other rain/weather boots to this day.

I used them at the Crater of Diamonds last week in Arkansas as a matter of fact.

Can't recommend them highly enough.

These do look great, but it looks like they only come as a boot. I'm looking for a "low top" moc/shoe/slipper shoe. Thanks for this info though.
