I put the external temp sensor in the fridge. The readout goes in the tow vehicle or camper. Tells me how the fridge is doing.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. I've always been a "peek out the window" for wind and cloud and precipitation reports, and a "step outside" for temp. Of course, I have blown it and stepped outside to measure the precipitation.
Two CG helo pilots are getting ready for a night mission in Kodiak, Alaska. Copilot says, "Do you want me to check the weather?" Pilot replies, "Don't bother, we'll only scare ourselves."
