Ditto - we have a 41' 16,000+ fifth wheel, but we also pull cargo trailers, flatbed trailers and a boat trailer with our one-ton dually as well as our 3/4 ton F250.
Not sure I see what the big deal is.

I have a '17 Ram 2500 CTD, CC, SB and pull our '16 T21TBHW (2450# empty, 3200# loaded). We don't plan on getting a bigger trailer but I didn't want to feel the trailer back there while towing, wanted to get the same mpg towing or not and not have to be replacing a gasser after a few years of full timing thru the mountains out west. Who's business is it anyway if this is "overkill". I would rather have "it" and not need "it" than need "it" and not have "it"!

You know when I find myself getting worked up about postings I pull my hands away from the key board pause have a cup of coffee or gin & tonic laugh at myself. In the end it boils down to just one thing! My truck can pull more then your truck. LOL

It's really not a big deal. Like, at all.

The result is that the most information a person with your plate number could possibly get is the make and model of your vehicle. Not your name, not your address, not your date of birth, not your social security number, not whether you had feathered hair in the '80s, not whether you reach for slices of bread at restaurants but then put them back when you find out it's an end piece, etc.

Reminds me of people that cut off their address on magazines before they throw them away.

As I was driving down the highway today, I noticed that all the license plates were blurry.
So I don’t think anyone is blurring out the plate numbers when the post them on the Internet. Blurry license plates are the natural order of things.
The OP probably went to extreme lengths to unblur the plate.
