Wet & Forget on plastic?

My plastic (looking) sinks, shower, and tub are getting dingy. Has anyone used Wet & Forget on these items? Any problems or discoloration?

No responses, so I tried it cautiously. It cleans very well. But I didn't let it dry because I was concerned about spots. I used it rather like any cleaner, after letting it soak a while. I'm impressed.

Thanks for awning tip, I need to clean those black lines off that form on underside, and you can't really apply pressure scrubbing underside. Tinkerreknit, you haven't been using any kind of abrasive cleaners on your plastics, have you? Cleansers or rough srcubbies I imagine would wreck those surfaces.

I started using this stuff two years ago and have not had to clean the underside of the awning since, it stays white. No worry about rolling it up wet, I think that activates the stuff. Spray it top and bottom as the awning top side (dark side) rolls up onto the underside (white side). I usually apply it once a year, although the first year I applied it twice as the awning was really stained. Also, as the directions say...BE PATIENT. They do sell a concentrate at a good price that makes gallons!

Just searched it. Are you using the outdoor mix, or indoor?

I read all comments in the thread but didn't see a product name. And yes, I do wear glasses.

I've used Castrol Super Clean, Walmart about $10 a gallon, on my awnings for the past 14 years or so with great results. This year I was out of Super Clean so I used Spray 9, Home Depot, or Lowes for about $10 a gallon, and the underside of the awing sparkles!

Wet the underside of the awning, in sections like thirds or quarters, spray-on SC or 9, scrub with a soft bristle brush on and extend a pole, move on to the next sections, etc., rinse the whole underside. Yeah, you'll get a little wet, its summer though, and of course I wear shop glasses while doing the job.

Should take about a half-hour for a super clean awning!

I've avoided abrasives. By the way, I've used the awning, or outdoor, product also with very good results.

Ok, when you said the sink was looking dingy, I thought the surface was getting dull/hazed looking from scrubbing it with something abrasive.
