What Are Everyones Plans To Pass The time Til Spring?
I have one more trip to the campground to pick up my camper and bring it home for the Winter and that's is tomorrow.
I was just woundering what eveyone is going to do to pass the time.
Come up with new mods?
Continue to travel?
Play Bingo at the local fire hall?
or just set back and wait for Spring?

As we don't winterize our rig and it stays in our garage we pretty much go year round if the urge hits us. We love to head out to the coast and watch the storms come in and just take it easy. However outside of that the holidays keep us busy till the new year and we like to ski. If time permits though we take the RV for a ski weekend.
I feel bad for all of you who are really stuck at home for the winter. I know that after a month or so being home I start looking over Google earth and dreaming about getting away, looking at the pics of trips people post here just gets my fever up to get on the road.
How about that, post up some of your pics of past trips Rockwood, that's a good way to pass the time and get everyone else dreaming....

A few of us are fortunate enough to live in a climate that allows for all year round camping. I think we'll just stick with camping when we can and leave it to the rest of you northerners to winterize til spring.

Will be going to at least 2 RV shows over the winter, then either a week of skiing or to a sun spot and the older I get the sun spot seems more inviting.

While we will be attending some rv shows in the winter, I will be enjoying my favorite hobby .... SNOWMOBILING! When the snow flies in upstate NY I will be there! Gotta love winter

We mix camping in with 12 other competitive travel soccer trips each year. Winter is a good time to catch up on inside work and do nothing if the mood strikes to set and relax.

We plan a camping trip once a month this winter, Texas coast, Big Bend or local state parks and a cruise to the Bahamas in early March for our anniversary.

back and forth to NM CO and home again to Texas
Co after Christmas i hope will be great, its close to southfork, should be some nice snow and maybe a bit of skiiing

Camping here in south Ga year round. Spending twentieth anniversary near Calloway Gardens in Georgia at Pine Mountain RV Resort. Going to St Augustine in Florida in Febuary.

80 acre hobby farm, chain saw, dog, into the woods; some deer hunting. once too much ice and snow, going snowshoeing! trailer is winterized and sitting in the barn. long Minnesota winter ahead.

I'll be thinking about next spring and remembering all the great times from this past year.
As for all of you winter campers everywhere keep the Pictures coming of your trips. It's nice to know that someone's out there while we're busy playing in the cold and snow.

year round trips to the coast and the mt, some RV shows for ideas (and hope I don't throw down cash on a new rig! - I'll bring the wife to make sure that doesn't happen), updates on the trailer, more mods, catch up on wood working plans, and kayak as much possible now that the rains have begun! Oh, yah.... work to pay for it all

Good for you man!! I like Habitat for Humanity also. It is heavily in my retirement plans. You meet lots of nice people and learn a lot along the way; not to mention all of the good you do.

I agree on the Habitat for Humanity program. I chaired a project for our church where we built a complete house along with Habitat for Humanity. We didn't want to only donate the funds needed but also all the labor. Church volunteers donated every hour required to build the house with no help from the normal workers from Habitat. We only allowed the actual home owner to work on the house with us. On top of that we bought Habitat some new ladders and tools to use on future project homes. It was a labor of love for all involved.
