Local dealer won't honor Forest River Warranty since its a "you didn't purchase the trailer from us" trailer.
that's ridiculous! Isn't the warranty provided by FOREST RIVER and not your dealer? Call Forest River immediately.

I asked a question in referrence to a reply this member posted to the original topic. Since there is a delay between the "question" and "answer" it wouldn't make much sense to others as it seem to come out of nowhere. I understood because it was my question being addressed.

Sorry.

lol your warranty contact answer was in response to my attempt at Sarcasm. My original answer to what are your 2012 plans was to get my axles replaced on a 4 month old trailer and all 4 tires since no one locally will cover warranty work up fornt and only will carry it out if I pay up first and ask for the money back second from FR.

Then if anything was left in my pockets to actually spend on enjoying that new trailer we were hoping to travel to Ontario to visit my brother and perhaps to NH for a NASCAr race....

I have 5 days reserved in March for Rainbow Springs State Park -
I have a 2 day trip reserved for Long Point Park over Easter Weekend in April.

I may be taking the camper to Tennessee in July but that is up for discussion right now because it is almost cheaper to get a Hotel room instead of dragging the camper along.

Falls Lake Nc, Rolling View campground

KOA Smithfield NC, 4th of July

Ocracoke Island, dry camping at the NPS campground, awesome, all windows open breeze thru the camper all day/night

KOA Hatteras, on return trip from Ocracoke ( one night )

Jordan Lake NC, Poplar Point Campground

many nights at Porto Backyarda, cheap, good WiFi, nice fire pit, quiet.

New Years Eve in a buddies backyard 75miles from home, was kinda nice to not have to deal with driving home "after" the party.

COuple trips planned for this year all ready, first one end of Feb.

Love the Pismo Dunes. I met my wife in Santa Maria and used to watch the submarine races from Pismo dunes.

Live just south of the Grand Canyon and we camped in Willimas RV park and took the train to the south rim. Nice.

Sacramento delta is also a great spot. I think it was the Pirates Cove marina and campground.

Having fun is the name of the game and is seem you have a few fun trips planned.

We were looking at the CG with the train, you'd recommend that one? How hard is it to get reservations?

Given this will be our first summer camping we're going to try and take it easy. Planning one trip per month from April to October, likely 2-3 nights per trip, all within a 200 mile radius from our home in Colorado Springs.

So far we've booked Heaton Bay SP for Memorial Day weekend. Also planning on Mueller SP, West Lake, and Estes Park. Any other suggestions?
