My old Coachman was called the 'Tent On Wheels' because nothing worked in it except the electricity and the furnace.
But I named it "Trailer Trash'!
It was when I threatened to have that painted on the back like boaters do that my soon-to-be ex wife thought it was a good time for a new RV.
Two trailers after that one, my current 5th-wheel I call 'The Prowler' (not an FR)!

A-Frame was Kermit (cz I love frogs and the Forest River Owners Group). New Keystone 19RB is The Tardis cz it looks small on the outside (next to the 25-40 footers) but inside it feels so big compared to the 12-ft A-Frame.

My grandson was just two years old when we brought home a vintage Airstream Motor Home. He took one look and yelled out "Chummy" the name stuck and we are now on Chummy IV.

We named our 2018 Georgetown, “MarLee” after the first 3 letters of each of our Maternal grandmother’s names.

I guess I need to get my imagination working, we call our class C "the motorhome".
Sometimes we even refer to it as "the camper".

Well.... what's normal for one ain't necessarily normal for another, right?
To put your mind(s) at rest (the normal condition?) this unit was an import from the USA to the Land of Oz - Down Under to youse guys. So things had to change, like swapping the entrance door to the less dangerous side, and of course swapping the 5m awning to the off-side as well, (effectively making a mirror image version), upgrading the frame to cope with our beautiful (HA!) roads, changing the electrics and gas systems, adding a 120-240v transformer to run the ceiling fan/light, swapping all other 110v appliances (well, the fridge and water heater), for 240v types, and so on.
When you go on the road here in Oz, you will come across many caravans, motorhomes and 5'ers that have been imported by owners or even dealers that do not do full or even partial conversions and have entrance doors on both sides or even just the one on the road side. If the road-side door opens, along with the one-only door types these units are illegal here, yet they exist. Like in the USA, enforcing laws for RV's is a pretty lax affair. Sometimes this can be a blessing but in many cases it creates a real threat to others on the road.

We ordered our camper with the ‘Churchill’ fabric option, hence our camper’s name is “Winston.”

We called our first trailer “Rocky” as well, and our Hyundai Santa Fe “Santy”. With that trend of naming vehicles, when seeing another brand of camper on the road, my teen son quipped “Dad, I’m sure glad you didn’t buy a Hornet.”
