Names

I called our TT "Beastie".

At nearly 43 feet long, it's nearly like a full blown tractor-trailer going down the road. Having a Dodge Ram with the Cummins diesel makes it fairly easy to tow, but how someone can say "it's like it isn't there" is beyond me.

How can you state that nearly 43 feet of trailer isn't there???

The Harley that goes in the toy hauler is called my "Mistress". For 1) it's the only mistress my wife lets me have and 2) I can afford the two wheeled mistress knowing darned good and well I couldn't afford a two legged one.

Questions/Comments welcome.

Matilda

Our first TT was a KOALA 19WQ. Staying with the theme It was named MATILDA (as in waltzing) and had. additionally. "on walkabout" front and back. The 251RKS has not yet been named but we are keeping the "on walkabout" part. As we previous to RVing we had a sailboat we were surprised how few RVs were named (displayed).

Remember when you would see a couple's name painted on it, something like 'Jim' on one side of the rear end, and 'Barbara' on the other?

My wife and I named ours “The Clubhouse”. Because sometimes after the kids go to bed we sneak out to the camper and play cards and drink wine. Makes us feel like we are kids sneaking up to a tree house clubhouse lol.

This is our 2nd 5er and we've called both "the fifth wheel". Not Very original. But the TV is called "FrankenFord" because of all the parts replaced since owning it.
I couldn't asked for a better TV

Our TV and TT both have names.

TV = "Bessie" 'cuz she's a big ol' white cow of an Expedition.
TT = "Diamond" because my girlfriend wanted a camper instead of an engagement ring.

We haven't decided on the name yet, but we have the camper name narrowed down to "Weasel Den" or "Weasel Boogle" (common name for a group of weasels).

A little explanation, Weasel has been the nickname of my dad, uncles, brother, and myself during HS Athletics, due to the similar sound of our last name.

Our pontoon's name is "Nauti Weasel" so we'll keep with the theme with whichever name we select.

I had the choice between a Harley and a ring. I chose the ring because I knew I would still get the Harley!
