WOW...that's a lot of camper for the GM 6.0...assuming those gas numbers are mostly going downhill from OH? LOL

Those #s are about the same for me towing a Sabre 36QBOK with a 2004 Chev 2500HD 8.1L. I added firestone air bag and inflated to 50PSI run very smooth. Actually tows better than the TT prior to the fiver. However, the stopping difference and height clearance take some getting used to.

04 F150 towing our 26BH Grey Wolf weighting around 6000lbs I usually see 10-10.5, I have gotten as good as 11 and as bad as 9 mpg. But for a slightly lifted truck with larger wheels and tires (33" tall X 13 wide), and the way that I tend to drive sometimes I am happy.

Yeah it's a 6.0 gasser. Performed really well. Came down I75 to Atlanta then I20 across S.C. Funny thing is coming across S.C. seemed harder than I75. Longggg up and down grades through S.C.

Got 7.5 average (hand caculated) last summer going to Indiana averaging 60mph with the old 08 Ram 2500 Megacab 4x4 hemi with 3.73's pulling our V-Lite and just DW and me. We will see in June how the Sooper Dooty does going to Tennessee with 4 people. The Dodge weighed abit over 6700 with a full tank and DW and I in it, the SD weighs 7368 with no one in it and a full tank.

I would not want to do that with that engine, I had a 6.0 gas.in 04.
Back on topic I see 3 to 7 mpg empty on the 250 tune.lol
And 12.5 mpg towing @ 65

X2...had an 09 GMC 2500HD 6.0 towing 9500lb TT...no way I was going to pull 12K loaded 5'ver after that experience

Gotta love photoshop!
Thor Chateau 23U on an E350 chassis and the V10 pulls
8.6 - without the toad and staying out of the mountains. 65 and under
7.6-7.8 with toad (Ford Escape)
7.2 - Headwinds and mountainish terrain. Haven't been out west yet so assuming that the Rockies would require more juice.
Upgrading to a Forester 3011DSF and expect the mileage to drop 1 mpg all the way around.

2004 Dodge dually diesel 6 speed standard 2X2 towing a 30' 2009 Cedar Creek and we get 15 MPG (Imperial). The Dodge has a "Smarty Junior EMC" that we put on "Tow" for hauling and "Stock" unhooked.

Just a little more clarification - this is our average. We have traveled around British Columbia (Duffy Lake Rd with 13 % grades) across Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, S. Dakota, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California, Nevada and Oregon. The Cedar Creek has a GVW of 13,900. We typically keep our speed to 65 MPH max. It helps to be "over trucked" for the GVW of the RV.

stopping power is there if trailer brakes properly adjusted  . but talk about no more difficult sites to get into with your tow vehicle... what a breeze turning around anywhere

If the brakes on the camper were adjusted properly the camper would pull the car inside out when you hit the brakes ........

]Just got the Rockwood 8289WS towing with a 2012 Toyota Tundra 5.7L Crew Max with a 5.5 ft bed. Towed for the first time and got 9 mpg on my Tundra gas engine. Towed the camper well with plenty of horsepower to spare.
