That's odd. I've been on the road for 8 months now, and I've never come across anywhere that sells it other than by the gallon.

Propane Cost

Last time I bought Propane, I paid $3.00 a gallon which appears to be the cheapest here in North Texas.

Tractor Supply is the best we've found near Pittsburgh, PA. Like someone else said you only pay for what they pump and we can fill a 30# tank for about $20.

Tractor Supply for Propane

The Tractor Supply near me has a parking lot hat is quite small. Afraid if I took my 37 foot motorhome in there I might not be able to get out!

Good point, LannyCox. I have a trailer and always remove a tank to take it to Tractor Supply in my TV.

I pay $3.05 a gallon at a local small campground. It's only 5 miles from my house. He is the cheapest around and very convenient. Others have posted that TSC has good prices. Closest one to me is 35 miles away. Next time I am in the area I will have to check their prices.

Just filled 30#tank with 7.1 gal at tractor supply in Davison Mi for 2.59 per gallon just over $18.00. neighbor in campground paid $30.00 to fill one at campground. I use quit a bit of propane always go tractor supply if one is nearby they are usually at least $1.00 or more cheaper than anyone else. I have found this in Florida Kentucky and Michigan.

$2.39 a gallon at propane dealer in Bremerton Washington.$2.99 at local stations. While in Parker Arizona last winter we paid $2.79 local dealers, they wanted $3.79 at the park we were staying at. Good thing about Arizona is we only used 20 pounds a month.

I drive by Tractor Supply everyday on my way home from work. It is usually around $15-$18 for a 30# tank. So for the past 2 weeks I have been planning on stopping by to fill my tank before we left this past weekend for camping. Long story short....cost me $35 at the campground.

$2.87 per gallon at Tractor Supply. Find a place like them, which only charges you for what they put in, instead of a flat fee. There is almost always a little bit of propane left in the tank.

You guys are killing me. Around Southern California, most of the time I find it reassuring and wonderful if I can find $2.99 plus tax.

A lot of places are 349 and 399 a gallon plus tax
