$3.50 in Louisville Ky area, although I heard someone report $3.25 in the ville.

And yes, take us down to $2.99 then we'll get a nice $1.00 jump in time for the holiday season..... Merry Christmas!

It certainly isn't in Anacortes. I gassed up the car at Safeway today and with the 3 cents member discount it was $3.72.

There are two refineries within the city limits. Sure, Washington has a high gasoline tax, but it isn't 60 cents.

$126.7 per litre times 4.54 litres per gallon = we are getting ripped off
When New Orleans had teh hurricane a few years ago and it went to 145 a barrell we paid 1.35 a litre.

Now its 81 dollars a barrell we are still close to being royally ripped off.

We should all be careful when we use the term, "gallon" This forum has members from the US and Canada.

1 US gallon = 3.8 liters
1 imperial gallon = 4.55 liters

I suppose the difference in the dollar goes without saying. Although, right now, they are about the same US$1 = CAN$1.03 at today's close.

$1.174 in Stratford Ontario today or about $4.437 for a U.S. gal. A bit higher in some outlying areas but still down from $1.299 a couple of weeks back.

Down a wopping 7 cents
now 1.22 and 1.36 for prem.
Why we pay equiv of 48-54 cents extra for prem blows me away.

ur right, gasoline tax combined (st and fed) 0.559/gal;
diesel 0.619/gal.
Fuel taxes in the United States - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

got to pay for the roads.
some areas also require a cleaner burning gasoline. at one time, California, Colorado.
Washington may be one as well. i don't recall the others. that blend also drives the cost.
Chicago also had stricter requirements.
Diesel made a big jump when ultra low sulfur standards went into effect.

Seems like i saw $3.19/gal at Sams in Monroe, La. we've had a couple drops in the last week.

When we went on our first trip out we were paying extra $$$$ for gas until another fellow RV'er told us about costco gas. We looked it up the price on the internet, bought a membership, and never looked back.
