No real off season for me either. I'm in my Evergreen by Sun Valley for 5 months a year in Florida. Summers, I travel occasionally in my Class C when not fishing on Lake Erie

The wife and I geocache year round. Last week I went for a cache on the side of a hill with a 6 foot drop straight into the water. Did I fail mention to was 35 degrees outside with ice on the lake and I was a mile from the car. Yep I thought I had a good grip and then splash into 4 foot of icy cold water.

This is my online log I posted for that cache.

"As I type this I am a little over a mile from the car. It is 35 degrees and there is ice on the water and the water is as they say ice cold. How do I know this... because while retrieving this cache, I fell ass first then the rest of me into 4 foot of water. To make matters worse, I had to walk about 25 feet along the shore line to get out of the water. The real pisser is I thought I saw cache before my head sank into the murky brown water.
And my doctor told me to take it easy after my heart cath...HA have I got a story for him."

Geocaching and camping just go together and they are both outdoor activities. It has taken us to 40 of the 50 states and we have learned a lot from ans met some great people.

I guess my other hobby would be putting my 5,000 Christmas lights and dozens of Christmas display around the house.

I miss Geocaching. Used to do it alot until the company that runs geocaching.com went money hungry a couple of years back and made it almost impossible to GC more than 2 or 3 a day without paying them $$$.

Pissed me off so much I went and pulled the geocaches I had set up and deactivated them online.

Basic membership is free with tons of caches available. Premium is only $30 a year. Heck that's one dinner a year for the wife and I. The dinner is gone after 24 hours but I can geocache for a full year with premium features.

As we'll be adding 9.5 more acres at our cabin today and 9 of it is woods that need a little TLC, weather permitting, I know what my winter will consist of. 49 acres of woods and 1.5 acres of grass around cabin. Soon as deer season is done, got some trail work to do in those woods.
