Ok, that's three, but these three rotate for the "worst" award depending on which is happening at the moment.
I was at a recent "parking lot RV camp" music festival. I arrived first, and when neighbors on either side arrived, I told each one of them, "Since we are in pretty close quarters here, I would appreciate it if there would be no wild, loud parties - unless I am invited to it."

The one neighbor on my front side popped open his dinette window, stuck his head out and said, "This is a test of the emergency exit window. It is only a test, not an actual emergency." I was rolling!

Breaking down on the highway.

Lost all tires and suspension one day.

Good news. Tow guy had fixed the issue many times. $6500 and a 20 hour stop at a Shell station. Sort of good ending. Then my insurance company paid for it!

We have a rule. Cocktail time is 17:00 hours. Non negotiable. We try to drive 300 miles MAX. Normally leave by 11:00.

You’re exactly right that camping manners have changed recently (+- 10 years). About the same time that flip-flops, dirty shorts and backwards hats became formal wear.
I get it that folks like to have fun but respecting others’ privacy and property is just common courtesy, something that’s becoming harder to find.

Well, I have a slightly different take on this subject. I have seen a lot more brand new inexperienced RVers that don't always know the etiquette, but they are usually friendly and learn quickly.
What I have noticed, especially as I age, is there are a lot of grumpy old folks with zero patience, especially for younger folks who are trying to cram their RVing into weekends.

Unhooking and leveling the trailer for an overnight stop.

Raise it up to get the pressure off the WDH bars.
Remove the bars.
Let it down so the coupler latch will release.
Raise it off the ball.
Pull the truck ahead.
Level the trailer.
Then do it all in the opposite order to get ready to leave.

We don’t always have to unhook but these new WDH hitches with the L brackets instead of flip ups sure do add a lot of steps and time to the hitch/unhitch process.

In 25 years of RVing, I have never needed to unhook the trailer, for an overnight stop. Only unplug the umbilical cord.

I used to tow, 45 min to pack 45 min to unpack, x2 when you head home. Got seriously tired of that. So we bough a motorhome. That too has it's issues but I no longer have to spend all my time unpacking.

We pull into our site, drop a few chairs an crack a brew...

I don't even unplug cord. My truck kills power to the connector when ignition is off.

When I camp with my trailer, I never even bother to mechanically or electrically unhook it from the truck for the whole several days or a week’s stay. I have a motorcycle to take me places, so I don’t need the truck for anything other than to take me back home at the end of the stay. Truck kills power to trailer when it’s shut off.

When camping with motorhome, park, set parking brake, then push auto level button. If the trailer is behind it, leave that hooked up, too.

As others have said... the worst part is having to call a trip... the end.

We have been fortunate to park beside our home for many years (at every location we've lived) and have duplicates of almost everything in the 5th wheel that we have in our home from appliances, tools and devices to clothes/shoes/coats.

Packing and unpacking involves moving food from one refrigerator to another, replenishing anything used up while out (canned goods/beverages) and adding a few favorites for whatever destination we may be headed. If we decide at last minute to head out, we can be gone in less than a half hour.

When we get home, if it has been a tiring day, I park, plug in and wait until I'm good and ready to remove anything that needs to be addressed. Same for the DW.

I agree about the packing and unpacking. We live in town and can’t store our RV at home. It’s stored at my cousin’s farm (for free) about 15 minutes away and we’ve had issues with mice there so we don’t leave a lot inside the living area. We do leave most of the contents in the pass through. We have to take my DW’s car full of clothes, food and stuff to load it and again to unload so that means an extra trip with her car for loading and unloading. My truck bed carries the hoses in Rubbermaid bins, the BBQ, the propane fireplace, wooden blocks and other stuff.

Those of you who can keep your RV at home are very lucky to have that ability.

The annoying stuff that happens at the campground is inconsistent.

My DW is still working full time so we won’t be doing any extended trips for a while and the packing/unpacking routine will be necessary for as long as we have an RV.

In retirement, we still have the weekend. That’s the time we try to stay home and avoid the overcrowded campgrounds, parks, lakes, ski runs, etc. We have our fun late Sunday until Friday afternoon.

Others people’s loud music.

People who have no sense of courtesy with their headlights at night.

People who leave their porch light (or god forbid, bright LED awning lights) on all night.

People smoking and stinking up the place. (It carries!)

And then yeah, loud vehicles, alarm chirps, impact wrenches etc.

Sounds like every campground I've been in over 40 years. When you visit places that park hundreds of campers 20' from each other, exclusivity goes out the window.

Until technology finds a way to build a sound proof, smoke proof, light proof, people proof barrier around each campsite, its is what it is and not someplace I'd want to be if they do figure it out.

The Cherokee is permanently sited 150 miles from home, a 2-1/2 hour drive. We put everything in the truck bed: tools (in tool chests), food (in tubs), perishable food in (ice chest(s)), clothing and towels (in tubs or laundry baskets), computers and electronics. The truck has a tonneau cover, so contents are out of the weather and not subject to blowing away.
