Order you should purchase in.

5. What model you can afford

4. What model makes you the most comfortable.

3. What model has the most conveniences.

2. What model has everything you possibly want

Number 1. Whatever model the wife says you can buy and makes HER happy.

That makes one of us! J/k SCUBA...(I think)
I do like your list. It is pretty accurate for most.

I don't know if there really is a hierarchy...so to speak.
If you look at them and compare by price...you really need to consider weight, options, etc. Apples to apples kind of thing. Walking around in them is how I judge them. You can tell pretty quick if something is built more cheaply...IMHO.
I love the quality of my SALEM.

I don't know, what is there, 690 models now? It's difficult enough just to order them alphabetically.

Probably best way to know is to go to a dealer and say money's no object, then see which ones they show you first. That's the high end. Then say you really want to finance cause the ex took everything and your bank threw you out You'll see the low end after that. Everything else is middle.
