What's this Valterra tool for?
I found this in my storage area and I can't remember what it's for.

Bug Screen Installation and removal tool. I posted a pic too. Just search Vallterra Tool and it came up. Used for hooking the springs that hold the bug screen.

Thanks to all! I'll call this mystery solved. I bought the camper new, and I don't have the bug screens. I probably picked it up at some campsite and threw it in my assorted junk.
You guys are so fast!

If you look up their bug screen kits they have screens, springs and that tool to install them.

Unless it has a hole at the bottom of the slot it is NOT for for valve stems (actually valve cores). The hole fits over the center pin and lets the "slot" engage the lugs on the core.

If the valve is too deep, you can adjust it closer to the top of the stem.

Has nothing to do with valve stems. It's for installing/removing the springs for bug covers as other members have pointed out. It fits different screen springs. You may can check this link below and see if you may possibly have one or more of these screens unbeknownst to you.

Here is a youtube video of it in operation.
and here is where you can buy if anyone ever needs another
