Since that lovely
tire decided to take out the valves and piping for the grey/black holding tanks, im thinking about moving the piping the main dump valve for the tanks is about 8" behind the back wheel of the trailer. So why not move it further back. say just in front of the grey tank? it would extend the black water tank piping back some, but would keep the tire from totally destroying the pipes, valves ect. (or so I hope) SOOOO you think this would be worth while to do? would it cause drain problems? any one else try this? Reason being the pipes valves ect need replaced now anyways.
we are also considering buying the Metal tandem axle shaped fenders that are used on utility trailers and having them installed underneath the flimsy plastic trim to reinforce the wheel well area, and keep from destroying the underbelly portion of the trialer, wires in the area, ect if/when a tire blows again. they would be trimmed to be concealed under the plastic fake fender piece, but i hope keep a lot of damage and carnage from happening again.
