" The Lou"

Suburbs of St. Louis , here. The weather is terrible most of the year but it really makes you appreciate the few good weeks we have between 30 degree highs and 100 degree days. Mark twain lake is our primary destination, only 1.5 hours away. The mo department of conservation does do a pretty amazing job of maintaining the natural beauty of Missouri.

Born and raised in Leyland (UK) emigrated to join Boeing in 1968, now live in Anacortes, Washington State after retirement from the Kite Factory and from a post-retirement job as a bus driver for our county transit agency.

My sister, who still lives in Leyland, says that Anacortes is where God comes for his vacations. It's the only place in the US we've lived in that made her jealous.

Well, originally from "Yugoslavia" and came to Canada "a few years ago" and now call Leduc, Alberta, Canada home. I have been camping since I was 17 and bought a trailer with my wife 3 years ago and love it...going over my to-do list already but sadly have to wait until the snow melts around here. Had a pretty good winter up till now but we had a dump of 10" recently in a weekend and now everything is white again. Already booked our site for the May long weekend we have here.

I`m from Harrington, a small beachside village in New South Wales, Australia. The river is across the road and the ocean is 2 klms down the road and the rest of the village is surrounded by National Park.

rracer5,

70 klms, which is an hours drive. Think how much money we save not having them on our doorstep !!!

Robyn.

I knew you were just being funny, also have BCF ( Boating Camping And Fishing ) and Anaconda, plus lots of online camping stores. After all with 9000 + campertrailer owners on one of our campertrailer forums alone, you have to have plenty of camping stores!!

Cheers, Robyn.

I think a state section would be great for getting in touch with other local forum members.
I am a member of another forum that has state by state and its great to possibly plan outings together or just post where you will be and when for others to possibly run into each other .
jmo

So is this a possibility ?
