They are all visually interesting. But remember, if you want them to be seen while in motion on the road, the letters need to be large and easy to read at a distance.

Just a thought.

They are samples and feed back on design and modifications are welcome. I have been working with Mike (milzat) on some kind of design because when it comes to computers, I am lost, but I will say in the past two weeks with help from some of my fellow workers I have been able to do some on my own. I do have more Ideas. I think at this point because the thread is getting longer, members are losing interest in the thread and there is very little feed back. I don't know what to do at this point to get more input.

I think a lot of us are interested but the title of the thread is throwing everybody off. Maybe the decal portion could be moved or copied to a new thread more appropriately named.

We have stick people and a the name in an arc above them of our family camping group.

I think something simple and easy to read would be the best.

I agree but if the design was out of the ordinary, then it would attract other to read it. As far as the members go, once a decision is made on selection we as members would know what to look for. I think both of these Ideas can be combined. I have another design for that requested. Once I complete the next one maybe I will post it here on this thread.

I'm not sure how much that will help, but it will be easier to search for maybe?

(renamed the thread to include the decal ideas)

edit: hmmm, sorry all, i thought i changed the title of the thread, but it seems that it only changed the title within my first post.

Admins: If you want to rename the post, go for it. Or like someone mentioned above, maybe we can copy the decal ideas out and post them into a new thread as a sticky / poll once its done?

I like this design best...its simple with fairly large print so its easey to read.

I hate to be critical, but those last two designs are airstreams...not really related to Forest River.

Dave and Monica, there are more on page #4 and there are some samples that are not posted yet. I sent everything that I have done to Mike(milzat) for review and I understand that milzat is away this week. The reason for the Airstream (4 of them) is because they are classics which represents to me the begining of time and how RVing/camping has become what it is today. As a matter of fact we where I work at is an Airstream in the Museum that the Astronauts used as a decontamination chamber when they first went into space. I came up with different Ideas on different levels from a cartoon type to something classy then something in between. It's ok to be critical and I like input and I am happy you responded, thank you. I am not sure yet but I think all of the samples will be in one place for all to check out and vote on.

Rockwood06, thanks for the explanation. As you said, airstream one the pioneers that pretty much started the industry.

As we can tell by the number of posts on the subject, there's a lot on enthusiasm around the idea of membership identification. So let's keep moving forward with it!

The forum decals are a GREAT idea!! Why not put a date on them, and that way, each member could pay a small yearly fee- say 15.00? or so, then that would fund the site, and give forum members recognition. You pay your yearly dues, and recieve an updated sticker! (maybe even a quarterly newsletter??? OK, I'll be quiet! Randy
