Manitoba farm boy.
Just brought home our 2011 Flagstaff 8528CKSS, our dream fifth wheel.
With our driver's licence restrictions, I had to stay under 10,000 GVWR, but the Flagstaff gave us a 28 foot (actually 30.5) with a big rear living room, leather recliners and all! And it pulls like a dream. Lots of trips planned for next year.

Born and raised in Leyland, UK. Emigrated to the PNW to join Boeing in 1968. Got laid off in '71 and spent almost 3 years in Hampton/Newport News, VA (couldn't handle the humidity and the skeeters!). Moved to back to Boeing and the greater Seattle area, then Everett. Retired from Boeing in 98, now in Anacortes, maybe forever.

Anacortes, a favorite spot of mine, although I have not seen much more than the ferry lot to get to Friday Harbor. You are lucky to be where you are.

Pond lady:

We think so too. My sister (still lives in the UK) says Anacortes is where God goes on vacation. It's the first place we've lived in the US that she's actually jealous that we're here.

We were born and raised in Southern Illinois...near St. Louis...but have lived in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma area for the last 40 years. Thinking its long enough that Okla. is home by now.
Very interesting to see where folks are from and se how close some of our family is to some of the responses.
