We live near the little town of Bruceton Mills, WV. We're kind of in the middle of things...not exactly northeast....not exactly southeast....too far west to be called mid-atlantic seaboard.

Lets just say mid-appalachian region.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Born and raised in Iowa, moved around and now back in Iowa. We are retired and enjoy being in the middle of the country so we can travel in any direction from our home base.

The wife and I were both born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario but have been in Halifax, Nova Scotia for a little over 11 years now. No kids, just an old Pomeranian, two greyhounds and a cat.

Well Since I did not see "TEXAS" as a choice I went with Soutwest U.S.

"Y'all have heard of the "Great State of Texas" right?
"Texas is like a whole other country!"
"Welcome to the United States of Texas".

Quoting Davey Crockett:

“you may go to hell and I will go to Texas.”

When Davy Crockett ran for a seat in Congress from Tennessee (1835), he declared that, if he lost, the people in his district “may go to hell and I will go to Texas.” Crockett lost the election and went to Texas, to die less than a year later at the Alamo.

We live in AMHERSTBURG ONTARIO, We don't think of ourselves as being Eastern Ontario. We are SOUTHERN ONTARIO, in fact we live in the most southern tip of Ontario. Look at the map. and where the Detroit River and Lake Erie meet. this is US....
