X2. Works for us as well. We frequently say ours is 5' shorter than it is to get into certain CGs we are familiar with. Never had a problem. All they can do is get out a tape measure and ask you to leave if it really bothers them.

You will find outthis veries from campground to campgrounds. Most pull trailers are from back bumper to ball hitch,, on 5er it is from back bumper to front of the cap. This is what i have aways been told

I vote ball to bumper.

Mini Lite 2503S. 22' box. 25' 10-1/2" ball to bumper.

Only way to really know is to actually measure it.

While you're at it, measure ground to top of AC unit. You should know that number, too! (Mine's 10'-0".)

Measure the fartherest points for accuracy. As if you are building a storage shed and want to close the RV inside.
When reserving a spot, I use the manufacturer's listed length, rounded ie, 31' 10", to 32'.

When we purchased the Salem 25SL I thought it was a 25' inside box but it actually was 23' box and an additional 2' for the front. Then when I measured it to park it, there was an additional 18" for the bumper and the spare. Very confusing. I just tell an RV park when making reservations it's 25'.

However, I learned the hard way that several park on line reservation systems expect you to add the tow vehicle length, along with the TT length, when reserving a spot. So my 20' tow vehicle and 25' trailer doesn't come close to fitting in a 40' campsite.

There doesn't seem to be a standard to adhere to.
