Where’s my TT 19BHLE

I hate to be a pest but i placed an order, put down 3k, signed a purchase agreement for a Surveyor Legend 19BHLE FROM Couch RV NATION in Trenton Ohio on 4-30-2021. They say next I will get an approximate build date via email. I called a month later (May 30th) and asked about my build date and was abruptly told I would get an email. I expected some delays in the process due to the industry and the pandemic and the shortage of materials however I cannot stand not knowing where things are in the process. They did say it could take 3-5mos. Any ideas on how I can get a better idea if where things are or should I just shut up and wait?

There are a lot of posts here on the extended completion times. There are probably 5 or 6 per week. Based on the ones I've read, 4-6 months has been the norm.

I have been working with Brannon Osterbeger at Couch's RV Nation and he said 6 months minimum wait.

I will be picking up an early 2021 19BHLE this weekend because the deal fell through with the original buyer and I'm paying a premium for it.

Unfortunately, there's nothing anyone on this forum can do to resolve your problem. If it's any indication of how the plants are operating, my dealer had to have his entire 2021 allocation in to the Oregon plant by mid October 2020 in order to receive said products by April 2021.

A Novel Solution...Mohamed Must Go To the Mountain

If you cannot get the mountain to come to you, go to the mountain.

Here is a list of your model available for sale.

https://www.rvtrader.com/Forest-Rive...19BHLE%7C59196

You won't have it near you but you will have it if you are willing to go get it. Consider it one of life's many little adventures.

PS, if you fond one, cancel your contract and get your $3000 back. You do not want two and you dont' want to lose the money.

I've been talking to Jayco about an order and the dealers are helpless. They literally have no information to give to you outside of a vague "6 month" estimate. They might be able to find out once it's on the line to be built, but even then- there are parts shortages and the "completed" units are being put into holding lots until whatever parts are missing can be acquired and installed. And then there's the 1-3 week delivery time.

It sucks, but ordering is a giant black hole vacuum right now.

Thor Industries are saying they are not even taking new orders for 2021! If RV builders are waiting on furniture, that can be 6 to 8 months at least. Just these odd times.
