glad you're happy with your X-Chocks, me too, ... my tires are so close together, the ratchet wrench that came with my X-Chocks was not comfortable trying to it use between them, ... I replaced it with a t-handle spark plug wrench and would never go back to the original wrench, ... your tires are farther apart than mine, so you may not find that to be a problem, but if you do, that's an idea to consider, works great, ... sometimes I'll even leave it sitting on the chock under my slide-out like the pic shows, ... that way, I know where it is and I don't misplace it, ......

Face it, we're getting spoiled with electric jacks and such that work at a push of the button but don't work as well as "old school" when it comes to stability.

Mike...I think it's because we're getting older too. Just 10 years ago I was able to crawl under the trailer. Now...not so much. The X-Chocks we use do a marvelous job and installs easily. I've seen them on sale for around $50 for a pair of them and they'll last as long as you have your trailer.

Do you by chance remember where you purchased the pair of x-chocks for $50? Looking to get a set for myself, but they are $70 on Amazon. Thank you!

I've forgotten where my brother got them last year for $51 for a pair. At the moment Camping World has them for $69. EBay has a different brand (highly rated) for $49 a pair, no tax and free shipping. Might be a good deal here:

SteadyFast (an upgrade from jt's strong arm) system. Then you don't need any other stabilizing gizmos

I got the BAL brand for about $55 on Amazon. I liked the larger surface area to secure the the tires.

I bought these a year or two ago because: - No wrench needed other than the initial set up. Just push the lever to lock into place; pull to unlock.
- I needed some type of chock for when my tires are up on leveler blocks and a traditional chock won't work.

I have used xchock on w 2 tt now. Love them. They make a big difference I think especially if you have any dogs or little kid moving around inside a lot like we do.
Just make sure you get the right size. My first camper used wide stance axles so I needed to get the "xl" model. Then my Rockwood needed the regular ones.

Amazon has the set of 2 of the XL X-Chocks for $77. These are the XL model for trailers with the spread axles (fit 3.5" to 17" between tires). I just bought a pair that arrived yesterday. Have not tried them yet though.

Wow!! I never gave that a thought. Thank you for that!!! I have to remember doing that from now on

I tried a pair of the x-chocks and ended up selling them in a garage sale. I bought a pair of step chocks and move them from rig to rig as i trade. I see alot of owners using the x-chock but i never liked them. They never went in right for me as i have two bad shoulders that are full of titanium. Good luck with whatever your chouce is. Safe travels.

I have used the t-shirts for years, and this year bought the JT Strong Arm. There is a significant difference. I still use the x-chock, but now I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to get the JTs.

When I started out with a TT I brought the x-chocks but once I brought the fifth wheel with the Level-up I gave the X-chocks to my son to use with his TT
