Who has plants inside their camper?

Like the title says who has plants inside their camper and what kinds? I'm not looking to go crazy but I want a Venus fly trap. 1. Because they are really neat plants, 2. I figured this would cut down on the pesky flies that get inside the camper. Is this a bad idea? I'm not a flower person by any means but I like cool looking plants. The only plants I have in my house are cactus.

I'd say go for it!

How many flies can it catch a day?

I've been thinking about it - i'm a plant guy, but i keep running into two items on the "con" list:
1) Can't keep it alive when parked in the garage b/n roadtrips; and
2) Don't want to add one more thing to my pack/unpack list

Yea I thought about that too. I only talking about 1 plant and leaving it in the pot so taking it indoors during the downtime shouldn't been too big of an issue.

Do you think Lowes or Home Depot would have these plants?

they might. I've seen them occassionally at my local one, and almost always in the section with all the smaller plants already in decorative containers.

i just googled 'venus fly trap' and found this link. i know it's a toy store, but i kinda like the lid over the plant for travel....
