Will the price of Gas affect your Travel?
Prices in California are through the roof at 3.50 + over 5.00 on the central coast, will this affect our travel? I plan to Go to Disneyland and stay at an Rv park, with gas and all still cheaper than a Hotel room

We don't travel much as it is so when we do get the opportunity we will take it. It might mean one or two less meals in a restaurant depending on where we go, but we will still go. Something we just have to budget for.

We are still palnning our 4000 mile trip this summer.
Memphis - Mt Rushmore,Crasy Horse, Devils Tower - Yellowstone(6 days) - Grand Canyon(2 days) - Memphis.
I planned 8.5 avg MPG and $4.00 Premium. That will be $2000 on fuel alone.

Makes me thankful to be at a seasonal space!
We do commute at least weekly 2 hours round trip to the campground...but MPG is much better without towing!

Gas is nothing to me. I work anywhere from 50 to 100 miles from the house depending on where my next customer is so I spend about $300.00 a week anyway. A trip for fun wouldn't stop me from spending a little more anyway. I'm already planning a trip this spring and the gas cost alone is gonna be around $1500.00. Still beats a motel and lugging our clothes in and out.

The biggest effect will be how long I keep my gas truck!

Just got back from our trip to Disneyland, and to my suprise, gas was less there than here in the central valley, around here is 3.50- 3.60 for regular unleaded at anaheim it was 3.37-3.39 what a deal!!! LOL for total it cost us about 180.00 in gas, came out to saving over $250.00, b/c we tow a suite that sleeps 9, we have a family of 5 and over there you cant have a standard room with 5 people, a two room suite is available for alot of $$$$$
Dont get me wrong, I think gas prices are out of control, I know we can do more on our own soil, instead of depending on foreign countries, but that is a whole different subject!!!

Just got back from Angels Spring Training in Arizona (we live So Cal). Could not believe that gas was +/- $3.05 on Arizona side and $3.57 in Blythe (Calif side). It irks the bajesus outta me, but (like others have said) it is still cheaper than getting a hotel and whatnot.

Gas in Florida is at 3.65 for regular unl. I will limit my towing area to around 200 miles one-way. Fortunately for me, a LOT of stuff to see and do is relatively close to me.
