Will this adapter work generator to Trailer 30 amp?

Will this combine the 2-20amp plugs on my gen to the 30 amp on the trailer?

No. If your trailer is 30A it has a 3 prong plug. You need a NEMA TT-30R

L14-30 is normally used for 220Volts.

I don’t know of any way to combine 2 20Amp circuits to make a 30 amp, you will need to just use a 20 amp to 30 amp adapter and be mindful of your electrical use when on the generator.

Is your generator capable of 30 amps? Plugging more things into outlets on a generator doesn't produce more power.
Just use a 15/20 amp to 30TT adapter and limit your electrical use to your generator's capacity.
My 30amp rated contractor style LOUD generator has both 30TT and 30 amp 4 pole outlets (L14-30). I have it for home use with an L14-304 inlet plug panel.
I picked up a couple 2000watt inverter style QUIET generators, different brands, that I intend to link in parallel to get the 30 amps I need to run the TT power sucker gear No AirCon or electric heating elements, & I can run just one 2000 watt generator.
Ballparking, you need about 3500 watts to get 30 amps.

My gen is 2200 peak 1700w sustained inverter type. I was thinking I could use both 20 amp plugs to run the AC but after reading posts for 2 days and what was posted here I see different now.

I do appreciate all the replys.

With a micro air easy start you may get the AC going but that is all you would be able to run with it, if you can do that. You just need the single plug to do it and should convert from your TT cord to 20A at the generator...$300-400 for a micro air is a pretty expensive test....may be better off with a second generator to parallel with or one bigger generator.

Happy camping!

The most that your generator can do is about 18.4 amps for a few seconds and a continuous output of about 14.2 amps. Just plug a 30 amp to 20 amp adapter between your camper and the generator. You will always be below 20 amps. Jay
