You will have the ability to run basically what you can with a 30A shore power site. So it will run everything, but not at once. Figure continuous load about 25A.

3500W at 120V is 29A in a perfect world with no loss.

Even if you're hooked up to a 30A, you can't run 'everything' at once without tripping a breaker. It's all about managing your power.

As Flybob said, you can pretty much do with the generator what you could on a 30 amp service.

The issues arise when you are using several larger loads at the same time.

Consider that an A/C unit will draw around 12 amp while running but closer to 20 amp while starting.

The Microwave will draw 11-12 amp while running, slightly more when starting.

A converter, while charging batteries from a deep discharge will draw 700+ watts or 6 to 9 amps.

The electric element on a hot water heater (1400-1500 watts) will draw up to 12.5 amps.

Adding these loads alone runs your 30 amp shore power demand up to 45 amps and I know from personal experience that will trip the 30 amp breaker.

While running off the generator you'll want to make sure the water heater is running on propane only and charge your batteries early in the day so the converter isn't overloading the system when the A/C is needed.

Running the air and a coffee maker or air and microwave at the same time will be questionable. We have a predator 3500 and will turn the air off when briefly using those appliances.

Right. Everything but not all at once.

Yes, you'll learn about managing the power. You think you're good then someone needs to blow dry their hair and you're looking for popped breakers.

I recently bought the same model and coming from a "non-inverter type" life I am amazed at how quiet this unit is. I'm sure others that are similiar, Honda, Champion, Westinghouse, etc. are just as quiet. Still is nice not having to scream over the noise.
