Window Film

Two of my winter chores are to install a 2nd ac and window tint. I went to Lowes and picked up item les461 which has the platinum finish. For those of you with this finish how do you like it? I was not prepared for the mirror effect at night. Otherwise it looks ok and it was not difficult to install. I am thinking about trying a tint with a bronze finish instead. Any thoughts? Thanks

Had a auto window tint company do my windows. Helped a lot on heat in summer and did limo tint in the bedroom to keep light out. Be careful with tint as I have been told that the wrong film can burst the window in high heat situations.

We do not have dual pane windows and the glass is tempered. I am not sure if we will like the mirrored look or not.
