Winter Cover

Anyone have any info on TT covers? What brand held up really well or what ones to avoid? I'm in need a new one this year. I definitely want to find one with multiple straps/tie off grommets. When the winter wind gets under the cover it moves all over and causes wear & tear any place there is some friction. Does anyone recommend putting anything on the roof to keep the snow/ice from laying there so long? in the past (with a pop-up cover) I've used the oversized children's balls which help. With a 26' TT I'd probably need 3 or 4 balls to keep the cover peaked, and would need to make sure the balls stayed where I wanted them.....

If it was me I would get a metal RV carport. I used one of those covers before and it had holes it after one season of use. I'm fixing to get me a metal RV carport for mine.
