How long to charge my Tesla?
Answer:
Too long. Get a power box 50 instead. We did the math for a customer once and I think you pedal for a half hour or hour and you can limp a small distance. Hopefully a charging station is close. You can get more than one and put them in parallel. We will have a more powerful unit in a year or two. As an example with a power box 50 you get 42 watt hours per hour. Online it says the tesla 3 uses 50KWH to charge and has a range of 402 miles. That is 124 watt hours per mile.
So if you pedal for an hour you can drive for a third of a mile with your tesla. Ken

You can walk a mile with a gas container, fill it up at a gas station and back in less time. You can then drive to the gas station, fill up and leave before you're done in that hour and still can't get that Tesla to the station, if it even has a charging station.
You can still get portable propane/butane heaters and cooking stoves but some states like MA have their own versions. They're not recommended for indoor use but in a pinch with proper ventilation, and not sleeping with a heater on, could be done.
