Question Wool pulled over my eyes?

Took my TT in to have the slide adjusted because I could see daylight at the bottom corners when the slide was in. The tech adjusted a gasket and when done I could still see some daylight. He told me that this was for ventilation so the coach doesn't get too hot. Now I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed but not the dullest either.

Should I expect to see a little light coming through at the bottom with the slide closed? Seems to me mice/water could get in through there.

Edited to say with the slide in, not out...I can see daylight.

Yup, sounds like a snow job. There was a post on the Hybrid side about having the door open when closing the tip out. These trailers should only get air in through real vents, doors, and windows that are screened.

Youroo, are red ants same as fire ants? I believe they have them is TX. Not a fun item to have in any structure.

Went back to talk to my dealer today. Taking it back in next week. Hopefully it will get fixed. Thanks for the help.
