Big NO

AC-Nelson Omaha, NE
Big "NO"
Slide out stove wouldn't work...I looked and told the tech it was installed wrong, He told me that he does this everyday and it was installed properly...it wasn't and they had to remount it. WD hitch was set up completely wrong and not assembled correctly (bolts on head weren't tightened, discovered when I got trailer in driveway) Valves on low point drains not crimped properly...leaking (luckily I have access to the crimping tool from my work and fixed them). Freshwater tank drain...leaking (no Pipe tape on threads going into tank...(I fixed) Interior looked like it was wiped down with a dirty shop rag...Wife and I did a proper cleaning. I'll look elsewhere next time.

The only ones I know of personally, are no longer in business.
Plus after my warranty ended, in 2009, I never had to deal with any RV dealer again.
But the 3 local dealers that did warranty work are gone now.

Over the years I've seen the occasional positive review but never needed to write down the name.

Ok, we dealt with Jonathan Helms, matt pope and Jeff schollnick. Jonathan would say things that were untrue to make you happy, which just caused more issues, matt didn't have a clue, and Jeff was just clueless.

Glad you had a different experience.

Yes - General RV, Huntley, IL.

March 2015 - our sales person LISTENED to what we were looking for and how we liked to camp, and got us into a TT that is really perfect for our camping lifestyle.
April 2015 - Delivery and PDI - dealership took time with us, covered all the questions.
Summer 2016 - scheduled a 'maintenance' appointment, we thought we had requested same-day service, dealer thought it was a drop-off. They made time to check our TT over and we were good to go in a couple hours.
Two Years In - we have only had trivial problems, opinion is that our dealer checked / tightened / detailed whatever was needed before PDI.

Giant RV - Montclair, CA. Yes!!! We bought our WJ 3008w at the Pomona RV Show in Oct. 2016. Our unit was shipped directly from the factory to the show ( the shipping papers were in the unit ) so we knew it was factory fresh. Giant's salespeople were fairly knowledgeable except for not knowing where the in-house water filter and the battery cut-off switch were located. Even the factory rep didn't know. We later figured it out at the PDI. So far all is well. After 90 plus nites of camping this year, we do have some minor warranty issues and a factory recall. Bad thing is we can't get it into service till Aug. 18.

All in all, we would recommend Giant RV!!!

I'll have to look on my paperwork for jon's last name, but we had none of those issues. Granted we may never go back there for service since we are in Indiana but they took very good care of us while there and gave us a great price on our RV. This was in March of this year. I understand though how you feel, we had a really bad experience with another dealer in Florida and I cannot imagine anyone buying from them but they do.
