Writing a manual

So my family just got our new trailer yesterday, and I have been reading the various manuals that came with it. It occurred to me that I want to write a master manual, and checklists, just to condense it all into one place.

Has anyone done such a thing before, and has some tips? Itís going to be for a geo pro 19bh.

My thoughts are:
Checklist for packing
Checklist for towing
-hitch, power/gas status, check lights, check windows, check faucets, ?
Checklist for setup at the site
-level, wheel chocks, solar/electric startup, gas startup, heat and AC startup, ?
Checklist for Breakdown at site
-similar to towing checklist, ?
Checklist for storage
-warm weather storage, cold weather storage
Checklist for winterization

Also probably would be helpful to have a step by step for filling water, running hot water heater, Black and grey water dumping, refrigerator operation (gas or electric, where is the switch for that?!).

Any ideas, input, and experience on this topic is greatly appreciated. We plan on doing a breakin and getting some experience trip close to home in the spring, and at least 2 longer trips next year. My in-laws are planning the maiden voyage in a couple weeks and possibly a winter trip as well.
