Yikes!!! We've got bugs
We have a 2017 Sunseeker MH. Last fall we camped at a COE campground along the Mississippi. In November we left for the warmth of the Gulf Coast. As soon as the weather warmed up (40+ degrees), we started seeing tons of Chinese Ladybugs and Stink Bugs in our home on wheels. We have a small battery-operated vacuum and literally vacuum up 30+/day.
We are not planning on returning home until mid-April so can't rely on a freeze to kill them. Any suggestions of ridding an RV of these bugs preferably while we are living in it.
Thanks,
Shirley

Nothing that I know of. Insecticides may kill them but if they die in walls they WILL stink!
We probably get 4-6 stink bugs a day in our sticks & bricks home and it's the dead of winter here with many sub 0º days.

They have no natural enemies and therefore, are almost impossible to kill. They get in from the smallest, tiniest hole and we all know that there are many holes in an RV.
According to some "bug guy" at Virginia Tech, the best thing to do is to trap them and kill them using a 2-liter bottle.
DIRECTIONS: Start by cutting off the top 2 inches of a two-liter bottle. Then invert and tape the neck to the opening so the top sits within the bottle. Drop a small battery-powered light into the container. In a dimly lit space, the light will attract stink bugs, trapping them until you can dispose of them. I put about 1/2 cup water with some dish detergent in the very bottom and attached the light to the bottle cap with some glue to keep it up, out of the water.
We set one of these in our bedroom of our S&B and we trapped about 100 the first couple of nights, then about 20 or so for about a week and then 1-2 for another week or so. I haven't seen one in our bedroom since about November. I set one up in our kitchen/den area and have been getting 3-4 every day.

I was told to put some apple cider vinegar in a Solo cup and cover it with Saran Wrap or Press’nSeal then poke holes in the cover large enough for the bugs to get through. I don’t know if it works or not. I haven’t tried it yet.

Or maybe try the cider vinegar in the soda bottle from the post above it.

Sounds encouraging. Will have to try this. Thanks.

Towards end of last season we were innundated by boxelder bugs. We found out that the blue dawn dishsoap and water in a sprayer did them in, almost on contact. You might give it a try

Bugs In The RV
As a retired Pest Management professional, I suggest you call a "known" pest control companyand have them take care of the problem. Its an easy fix, but not one that I would suggest you do. Cost should be under $100.

This works great for nats and fruit flys if you add a drop of dish soap. Not sure if these guys like the Apple cider vinegar but the trap would be good either way if it did not work on these guys. Sounds like the light works. Of you add a piece of ham it would work on wasps as well.

Permethrin works wonders for these and just about any other bug. We spray down our camper twice a year. Permethrin is safe for clothing, thus safe for our living area. We RARELY find any bugs in the trailer. It kills off ants, mosquitoes, flys...whatever.

They are called Asian Beetles. They were brought over to eat the aphids that got on the bean plants. Did not work and now they are everywhere. Look like lady bugs but they will bite. When I was in Illinois a few years back and returned to the RV from a weekend in Atlanta, they were everywhere. Just got out the vacuum and got them up. They were also at work in the windows, church, etc. Just was something we lived with for a few weeks until they all died. Later on we had the cotton trees making everything look like it snowed.

They hide in every little nook and cranny that is available. We have had the same problem but one good thing...they don't seem to multiply so a regular vacuuming is the only real option. They smell for sure when you crush them and they even pinch if they land on your open skin as they fold their wings. Before they were introduce we used to find real lady bugs and tell them"fly away home, your house is on fire and your children can burn" and they would fly away.

I'm no bug expert but Would start with some kind of Home Defense bug spray and spray around anything that touches the ground around the rig. Tires, water hoses, cable tV, electric cords. sewer hose. Anything they can crawl up. I have issues with Ants at my camp with then coming up the shore power cord. Mine just pushes into a hole in the side of the trailer. I just stuff a plastic bag around the cord where it enters and spray everything when e arrive in May.

No More Bugs
I put these in our house and after 2 weeks the many types of bugs were gone! Note buy 1 for each room because they do not go through walls. And they have a night light that can be switched off!
Bought at Amazon:

I apply an inch or two of Vaseline to the shore power cable near the trailer body. Ants won't cross the Vaseline.
