You have a WHAT??
This can be frustrating, and I have been guilty also. When posting a thread, please give more detailed info on what exact rig you have.
SAY "travel Trailer" or motorhome or class C or anything more detailed. There are hundreds of models out there, and it would help. Thanks.

And saying it's a Forest River, doesn't say anything since FR is the corporation with nearly 100 different brands.
Like saying I own a GM vehicle.

I click on threads from the right side of the screen and have a bad habit of not scrolling up to see where it was posted to get more info.

Put your model info in your signature and/or your public profile and everyone will know what you have so there won’t be any question.

When using the mobile app, the signature is not displayed, you have to go hunt it.
It would be nice if the OP of a thread simply copied that info (provided they set it up) into the body of the thread for EVERYONE to see no matter the platform or just type it in.
Often times I can't be at my computer. The mobile app is my only way to view the threads from this forum. Not having all the info in the OP of the thread really isn't the best way to post anyway.

I'm just going to amen all of the above!
The more specific info we have about the problem, the better we can give a good answer.
Sometimes, if I'm feeling generous I'll even go look at their profile, but a lot of times it isn't in there either.

IMHO, filling out the profile with your rig and location information should be mandatory in order to join the forum for this very reason. Using the mobile app has it's advantages and disadvantages, so maybe the app developers need to consider how to accommodate this.

Yes Wolf, that would help. Or better yet include it in the topic line. Never tried the mobile site, trying to read and compose posts on a phone sounds like a PITA. If I had to do that, you probably wouldn't see me much.

Yep. Don't even own a "smart" phone (aka: mobile computer). If I'm away from the desktop it means I'm either working or playing at something that requires me to be on my feet and off my butt.

Yes, except that once you're down the thread a bit (or even several pages into it), that information gets lost. Having it in your profile or signature keeps it up front for every post.

That wouldn't work as many people sign up to the forum and don't own a trailer (yet).

Sure it would. Have an option like "shopping for....or interested in..." TT, MH, etc.

I was just wondering but what do you see on your computer that I don’t see on my iPhone. I tap the name of the poster and it tells me what the poster is pulling and driving. I am never on my computer, always on my iPhone

If you check my Profile...I do believe you'll find it empty (did it on purpose) That's why I try to state what I have when I post a question. Hey ! have a dry day. We're still soaked here in Nebraska.

Personally, I haven't seen a mobile app that's as nice to use as the website. I use a browser even on my iPhone. Maybe I'm mobile app challenged.
I like the suggestion about starting out a thread by saying "I have a ..."
