We have a 2014 (purchased in Sept 2013) and we have loved ours. We went from tent camping to the 147x.
Good luck with your purchase!

No problems whatsoever to this point. And we have been in some good rain storms.
Keep some air moving through the camper at night (open roof vents some, use the bunk fans, etc) to avoid condensation. Our mattresses have gotten a bit wet on the bottom a couple of times.
Let me know if you have any other questions I can help you with!

Awesome thanks for the reply, we had a pop up and always ran the ac all night so either we never had condensation problems or I just never noticed. But I'll keep an eye on it thanks again for the help we get the solaire this weekend so we're pumped , it was that or a bh, glad we went with the expandable I like the canvass and the couch for additional seating.

We almost went with a BH model as well but changed our mind at the last second. Glad we did! We really like the extra space with larger bunks and the canvass too.

We had a 2014 199x they discontinued right after we purchased. We had a Palomino 1992 popup which we loved. We loved the floor plan of the Solaire. We were very disappointed in the quality of construction of the expandable.
We got rid of it last year before the kitchen cabinet corner broke off. Supports system for drawers came completely apart on one trip. Had to do repair while traveling. I could go on.
Just buyer beware. We now have a 2017 Surveyor 251rks.

We have been pretty happy with our Solaire. A window seal leaked and the awning motor burned out, both under warranty. I put new rubber seals on the basement doors last year because they leaked. That's about it for problems.

If our 199x didn't start to fall apart we would still have. It was very roomy and easy to tow.
We did love it.
Continued good luck to you.
