Front bunk door leaking due to poor silicone job. 2014 solaire 147x

Went camping last week for the second time with our brand new palomino solaire 147 x. I noticed there was bubbling on the front bunk. I crawled under the bunk while it was open and noticed water drops coming from the bottom ledge right through the manufacture caulking. I then popped one of the water bubbles and noticed rusty water coming out. Upon arrival at home I decided to put bead of caulking to prevent any further water ingress. Contacted the dealer and still waiting for a result. What type of caulking should I be using to fix this problem. I imagine I need something that has flex to it. Here are a few images hopefully someone can help me out with this

That is good news. Looks like the original door had some pretty serious issues. You should be a lot better off with a replacement rather than a repair. Hopefully its trouble-free sailing from here.

Otherwise, how do you like the Solaire? Looks like they did a nice job on the re-design (other than the door leak).

We really enjoy the solaire. We have been looking for a trailer that we could tow for over a year and when we walked into the solaire. We new right away it was the one. The finishing a inside were exactly what we wanted. The only downfall was the door. Hopefully the new door will be better
