New Solaire 190x

Hey FR Hybrid Expandable People,
This is our first trip... So many questions...
Reminds me of having my first baby and not knowing how to fold a cloth diaper.... Lol
Where's the ABC 123 user manual!
We drove through heavy rain... Arrived in the dark... Bed was a bit wet. Furnace won't fire...
(I have gas... On.... Stove and fridge running....)
Hubby had to go to the work project...
I need to hook up water and de-winterize, hope the water heater works..
Would love a shower.
I see a lot of folks unhappy with the Rv.
Good news and advice welcome!
Thanks!
We are looking forward to good Rv experiences

Congratulations on your new Solaire!

We have really enjoyed our Palomino and have not experienced any major problems.

I would recommend the 2nd year warranty if you didn't get it, just in case.

There is a lot of good information on this site and people willing to help if needed.

Welcome to Hybrids!

There is no ABC 123 user manuals anymore. Most RV manufacturers only provide a generic owners manual. It covers basic RV systems and usually has no info specific to your model or even type of RV,

Is the battery fully charged? Furnace runs on 12v power.
Can you post pic of thermostat?

Thanks RamsFan1 and Bikendan! I tried all the suggestions and all of a sudden the furnace kicked on! YAY. Also I need to put a good word in for Cold Springs RV in We are, NH where we purchased our Palomino. The service manager Eric is great! I spent some time on the phone with him and he answered all of my questions!
Turned out there must have been an air bubble which worked its way out...
I am now a happy camper.
Got all the systems running.. including de-winterizing and getting hot water!
I learned where the hot/cold bypass valve is... (which is why my water was luke-warm LOL)
And also know now where the anode rod is... how the fridge works... how to adjust the awning angle, etc... etc.
I am a researcher at heart and spent time pouring over the manuals... talking with Eric and reading the forums.
A hot shower, steaks for dinner and a heated mattress, a good nights sleep and all is well.
Now... if we could just get better at backing it up...
I drove a school bus in upstate NY for 15 years... BUT it didn't bend in the middle!

We have a 2015 Solaire, some minor flaws and repairs needed fixing, Alpin Haus was great. A great camper, lots of room. I had done some mods of my own, lots more liveable. Have fun. I to live upstate, near Albany, NY.

Cool didi20! We are now going on about a month living in our Solaire and getting settled in for the summer season. I love it! Thanks for replying. I hear about so many with "issues" that its nice to hear some good stuff. We also are having no problems... All systems seems to be humming along. Nomad life is the life for me!

We are relatively newbies to this too, having just bought our hybrid last summer. We are trying to dewinterize it ourselves and are having a few troubles. Anyone have any tips for clueless people? We drained all the pink antifreeze and ran through with fresh.. not we are just trying to figure out how to get our water heater back on and where our water filter goes.

Did you undo the WH bypass valve?

We did, finally. Things you don't remember from your walk through. Now we were trying to put the damn water filter back in and can't get the damn bowl off. Plastic wrench thing isn't working very well.
